Agile in Medical Device Product Development
Crafted an Agile solution for hardware product development groups that stayed true to Agile principles while managing activities that could not be completed in sprints, such as engineering change control, external prototype development, and testing.
Worked directly as a scrum master and collaborated with other scrum masters in the organization in a scrum of scrums. We created a Scrum and Kanban team network that allowed full Agile deployment across engineering, document control, supply chain, and quality. This enabled the continuous flow of value while adhering to rigid quality procedures required in an FDA and ISO compliant organization. Solutions included scrum of scrums for prioritization between Scrum and Kanban teams, custom WIP boards, and an organizational change management plan to get departments such as supply chain, quality, and document control onboard and support Agile teams.
